Motorola is typically quick at releasing kernel source code for its phones. Even though Android 9 Pie has only reached two of the company's devices so far — the Motorola One and One Power — updated kernel packages for three phones have been published. To our knowledge, these are the first kernel releases from Motorola designed for Android 9 Pie.
Motorola has uploaded the kernel source for 'Payton' and 'Deen' to its public GitHub account.
