The Vivo X20 Plus UD, the first phone with an in-display fingerprint sensor, will cost ~$565 in China

At CES, we got to check out an in-display fingerprint sensor on a device from Chinese manufacturer Vivo. This type of scanner has been rather popular with the rumor mill for some time now, but Vivo is the only company to have gone ahead and put it in a production device. The X20 Plus UD is the world's first smartphone with an in-display fingerprint sensor, and it's now up for pre-order in China for the equivalent of $565 USD.
