Nexon is developing a Power Rangers RPG, and you can test the beta right now

Apparently, Nexon is taking a stab at creating a mobile RPG with the Power Rangers license. It is called Power Rangers : RPG and it's without a doubt another free-to-play brawler with RPG and collection aspects. More or less it is precisely the type of game you would expect to be developed by Nexon.

Spotify is going public, despite losing $1.5 billion in 2017

You'll soon be able to own a little chunk of Spotify. The streaming music service filed papers with the US Securities and Exchange Commission Wednesday to become a publicly traded company. Shares will trade under the symbol SPOT.

Spotify's filing is unique in that there's no specific date when shares will be publicly available or a set price at which they'll initially be traded. Spotify is working with financial services firm Morgan Stanley to set the initial price of shares based on information provided by the New York Stock Exchange—on private exchanges, shares have traded as high as $132.50.

A fresh round of updates to the Google Photos app began rolling out this week. Best Buy to shut down all 250 U.S. mobile stores on May 31

Best Buy announced yesterday that it plans to shut down all of its small mobile phone stores effective May 31. This news should come as no surprise to anyone who passes by the miniature establishments, usually in shopping malls, and it seems like it is long overdue. Reportedly, they account for only 1% of the company's overall revenue and 1% of its total square footage.

The electronics retailer will keep its 52 mobile stores in Canada open, and it will continue to sell phones in its regular locations and on its website.

IFTTT lets you create custom rich notifications on Android

IFTTT, the service that connects all of your smart gadgets, services, websites, and various other sources with each other in an automated "if this happens here do that there," has made one neat improvement to its Notifications channel on Android. Previously, when you created an applet that triggered a notification on your phone, you could only personalize the message it displayed and it always opened the IFTTT app when tapped. Now you can also change its name, add a custom URL to be opened when you tap it, and append a custom image.

The first wave of Google I/O invites has started going out

I/O news is abound these days: yesterday we saw that the registration for the ticket raffle was closed and then the preliminary schedule was published revealing focus on Assistant, Chrome and the Web, a new Android Wear session, but still no signs of TV and Auto (though they might be added later). Now we have the first sign of ticket invites being issued to those who tossed their name in the hat.

YouTube offline video downloads are supported in 125 countries

About a month ago, we noticed that the ability to download YouTube videos for offline viewing had rolled out to more countries. At the time, we were able to confirm Lebanon, Iraq, Morocco, Azerbaijan, and UAE had it based on our devices and reports from our comment section, but we knew there must have been more. And more there is, in fact many many more.

The list of countries with support for YouTube offline viewing and downloading used to have only 16 countries (India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Yemen, Egypt, and 10 others).
