We're deep in the throes of Black Friday week, which one might imagine being the jolliest time of the year for Amazon CEO (and world's wealthiest man) Jeff Bezos. However, the company has just revealed some less-than-jolly news: the massive global e-commerce platform has "inadvertently disclosed" customer email addresses due to a "technical error."
Some customers in the US, UK and Europe learned of this data exposure via a brief email from the company that states only that the data was exposed and that the issue has since been fixed.
